Our operations leadership staff represents a diverse pool of talent in field operations, administration, technical services, and scientific expertise.


B. Dean Berry
Director of Operations
B. Dean Berry is an experienced Pennsylvania-based storm tracker and field correspondent, with over 20 years of direct experience in severe weather, emergency services, and risk communication. He has worked directly with, and was trained by, some of the most prolific figures in the weather media industry, including Brett Adair, David Neal, and John Van Pelt.

His work has been seen on national networks and online outlets. His coverage has included severe events, flooding, snow events, and hurricanes.

Theresa Moore
Assistant Director
Theresa Moore is Keystone Prime Weather's Administrative Assistant Director.
She maintains relations with the public, supporters, and followers, and moderates the livestream channels, consults on management and personnel decisions, and provides assistance and guidance with a perspective from outside of the weather industry bubble.

Joe Gombita
Lead Meteorologist
Joe Gombita is a popular Pittsburgh-area weather personality, and has served as the Lead Meteorologist for Keystone Prime Weather since it's founding in 2022. He is a graduate of PSU's School of Meteorology, and a life-long Yinzer. Whether it is with graphics and programs, or his trademark whiteboard, Joe breaks down the forecast in a way that resonates with viewers.

Kylie Blanton
Storm Tracker/Co-Pilot
Kylie Blanton is an experienced Western Ohio-based storm tracker that has been operating continually for 5 years. Kylie was selected to be B. Dean Berry's designated primary co-pilot and photographer in March of 2024, and primarily works the Upper Midwest.

Aside from her work with Dean, she is a talented independent chaser, who sustained significant injuries while chasing, having literally bled for this industry. Her coverage has included severe events, and flooding, and 2024 marks her first year covering snow events.

Rosie Vortex
Podcast On-Air Personality
Rosie Vortex is an original member of Keystone Prime Weather, coming on-board in 2022. She has tracked storms across the Upper Midwest, and is based out of Eastern Ohio. A seemingly permanent fixture of the weather community, Rosie has collaborated with multiple weather outfits and media ventures over the last few years, and is currently a co-host of the ChaserChat Podcast.

Dan Mirgon
Storm Tracker/Winter Weather Specialist
Dan Mirgon is Keystone Prime's designated winter weather specialist. Almost exclusively serving on-air and in-field during the snowy season, Dan operates out of his Eastern Ohio base in the Appalachians. A perfect location for the snow!​
